i replaced the previous gen model with these and i honestly couldnt be more blown away. i do not know how they(alpine) did it but the highs are so much crisper and the mids from the woofer are that much punchier. i highly recommend these components! but be sure to power them properly or you WILL NOT get the full potential these have to offer. i use the pdx-f4, but i think you can get away with using another high quality 4 channel amp. (minimum rms of 75x4).

Perfect fit to my 1991 Porsche! Great sound!!!!!!!!!! Listening to music made a huge sound difference!!!!

Be careful before you puchase one or two of these bad boys...you will hear every detail of the sounds and clarity coming from them. It is so clear and very powerful especially if you add an amp(I reccomend the PDX -F6). With that bein' mentioned...you can wake up the whole neighborhood. Becareful not to blow up your ear drums in the process. This is the best Alpine has to offer!!
