Installed in my 2012 Scion tC to replaced OEM and they sound amazing. Highs are more clear and the bass produced from just the stock deck is amazing. I cannot wait to power these with an amp and really see what they can do. 100 watts RMS? My deck Might be putting out 40 max, these bad boys are going to come alive once powered by a decent amp. I would recommend getting these.

Surprisingly sound very good when hooked up to Rockford Fosgate Amp and installed on my motorcycle! More bass than expected and sounds a lot better than my HawgWired system.

First, don't expect to be blow away by Alpines new Type-R's if you're running a factory deck or not supplying any after market power to them. In order for these bad boys to impress, put AT LEAST 50W to em.
When I hooked them up to 80W and place in my '07 Grand Cherokee Rear Doors the cab finally gave me that filled sound and balance. Not to mention the quality of the build is incredible for just a 2way 6.5".....
I would not hesitate to recommend these 2ways to anyone using aftermarket power, but if you're down in the 10-12W RMS.....you'll be spending money on something you won't be able to hear.

Maybe it's the stock premium GM/Delco original deck in my Silverado, and limiting their true capability, but I was expecting to be impressed after I swapped out the factory speakers for these Alpines. They're not bad, but I was not impressed.
