These speakers are great. I love them. I have them paired with a rockford fosgate amp that pushes 88 watts rms. WOW im so glad i invested in these speakers. They were good when i had them hooked up to my stock head unit but they really came alive. They scream. Im thinking i push 100 SPL with these. But i dont know for sure because i dont own a sound meter.

I installed this in my '07 Dodge Caliber's rear doors (no boston accoustics). At first I installed a pair of Orion XTR 693 in the same doors. The difference in sound is amazing. More powerful bass, and clearer mid and highs. Since the SPR-69 has a smaller magnet it installed easier. I did have to replace four of the original mounting screws (the grey screws, since they are too thick) with the screws that came with the SPR-69's. I also bought baffles for this bad boys, however the plastic door trim and power window rails in the car got in the way of the baffles, so if you have a caliber like me don't get any baffles.

Chris in technical support helped me a great deal with the installation of the radio and speakers. He solved my problem with the Alpine receiver with insufficient electrical power. Superb... above and beyond. Thanks Chris.
