This 6-channel equalizer can take your system to the next level, with 30 bands of adjustment and two parametric EQs per channel for some serious sonic fine tuning. Plus, you can store your favourite system settings in eight memory locations that won't go down when you lose power.

Easy to set up, easy to use

The DQS features inputs and outputs for your front, rear, centre, and subwoofer channels, fitting in between your receiver and your amplifiers in the signal chain. Once connected, the DQS makes it easy — turn up the input gain knobs until the "Maximized" indicator flickers, adjust the output knobs until you reach the desired output, and you're all set. You can adjust output level up to 7.5 volts, so you can maximize the performance of any amplifier.

Kill those sonic peaks and valleys

Car interiors present a unique set of problems caused by poorly-placed speakers, reflective surfaces, and absorbent materials. You can use 30 bands of equalization per channel, in 1/3 octave centres from 25 to 20,000 Hz, to eliminate sonic peaks and dead spots in your system. You can also adjust the parametric EQs to fix specific problem areas, like a booming bass note or a hot spot in your tweeters.

You can use the DQS in a traditional front/rear/sub setup, or in a mobile theatre system with a centre speaker. AudioControl's DDC dash-mount digital controller allows you to adjust the DQS from your driver's seat.
