My 1986 Cougar wasn't listed in the application chart, but it fit fine. I've installed several stereos in Fords using the metal side brackets so this kit spoiled me. It fits great and has a clean factory look. It also comes with a bunch of hardware, which I wasn't expecting. Just be careful to break off the right tabs when you install it, and it'll be fine.

This adapter kit exceeded my expectations. It gives a clean look and clean finish to the install. I blends well with the dash and does not have a cheap look.

Worked very well although it took some expected modifications. It is also
important to confirm its application prior to modifying the tabs to fit the
vehicle.

The instructions need to be updated with the year and model cars it fits. Did not have my vehicle listed so I thought it was the wrong kit. Fits perfectly after I followed the direction for an earlyer model vehicle.
