I've had these for about 3 weeks now and am extremely pleased. I put two sets of these in my crew cab truck and am driving them with an Infinity 475A amp and the factory head unit. Talk about filling up the cab with clean crisp sound, they sound great for a good price. And with Crutchfield sending everything you need for installation you can't beat it. Thanks Josh for the recommendation, you nailed it on my budget.

Great Speakers at a Great pric |

These speakers sound great in my Nissan Sentra and were easy to install with the provided guides. I upgraded from the stock base system and it's like night and day. I am running these from an after market Clarion head unit and don't push them with an amp. Time will tell how long they last but they look like they're built to last.
The only issue was with the speaker adapter bracket that Crutchfield included in the package. It didn't fit flush and needed to be Dremeled down to size. This doesn't affect the product any and once it was sanded down it fit perfectly.

Installation Nightmare |

Bought these for my 2009 Prius but the wiring and installation directions provided are totally inadequate. Between the crossover, the woofer and the tweeter, there should be 6 sets of wires to connect them but the box itself has only 2. Crutchfield sent connectors for the woofers but not the tweeters. But beyond that, the factory wiring for the Prius is a little complex and neither the directions or provided wiring accounted for that. Tech support was able to give me enough information for me to figure it out for myself. How do they sound? I'll let you know in a few weeks after I find the time to cut, splice and rewire the whole thing. Hopefully it will work better for your car, but don't count on it.

I replaced my 5.25 kicker coax speakers with these components. The difference is like night and day. The mid range is fantastic! A HUGE increase over the 2 way speakers i was using. The highs are crystal clear and sound amazing. The crossover's +2 decibel option is nice, but they sound bright enough without the boost. I cant say anything about the low end of these speakers, because i only let them go down to 100Hz. My focal 10" Sub handles everything below that. The sound quality that comes out of these speakers is incredible. Have had MANY complements on these. Bass is good, mid range is great, tweeters are fantastic. Great Speakers, definitely worth the money. GO CRUTCHFIELD!!!!

I have these installed in the rear doors of my Tacoma Access cab, along with the 6" components in the front doors. In the front, I had to make an adapter to get the Tweeters in the factory location, in the rear I drilled out new holes in the Access Cab doors to get the tweeters up high.
Keep the crossover high frequency set to 0, don't set to +3. Infinity tweeters handle high frequencies brilliantly and clear. It's a matter of taste of course, and specific installation, but in general those that find them "too bright" are simply used to inaccurate rolled off high end. These Infinity's open up a new level of sound in the high frequencies many may not be used to,. but this gives you very accurate life like highs.
They offer amazing sound even with low power factory head unit built in amps. Of course attached to an external power amp there is even more to cheer about Highly recommended.
