Not kickers best speaker. Very disappointed with this product. Not at all what you would expect from the kicker name. If I was kicker I would be ashamed to have my name on this product. Sound clarity is pretty good but performance sucks. Not much bass or treble for an aftermarket speaker. Sadly enough think factory sounded better.

I placed these speakers in the dash of my Jeep Wrangler. Once I had replaced the stock speakers I could tell a major difference in sound quality. I also I have now replaced the sound bar speakers with the Kicker DS's and they work together nicely. Huge upgrade from the stock speakers. And crutchfield included everything I needed to install them very quickly and easily.

Crutchfield's dimensions are wrong |

At the time I purchased these speakers, Crutchfield's web site said they had a depth of 1-3/16 inch. This was crucial to them fitting my car's door. I asked salesman at the store to double check the product, and he assured me it was 1-3/16. In fact, the depth is 1-13/16, and they do not fit. I am giving these speakers a low rating because they failed on the one criterion that led me to select them; it's possible they are very fine speakers, but I'll never know.
[Editor's Note: We have updated our info to reflect the correct depth of the speakers. ]
