I found this amp used locally and bought it for my wife's Sienna minivan. I had 2 older Infinity Reference 12's in a box, but having a wiring problem with one that I had to keep soldering. I had these same 2 12s in a 95 Camaro (sitting on the back seat facing forward) on an Alpine M500 (same price as this amp, but rated at 500W RMS @ 2ohm). I was expecting a little less out of this amp than the Alpine because of the specs, but I was wrong! It pushes more power than the Alpine when I did a side by side comparison, only difference being the vehicle. If you're looking for a mono sub amp in this price range, I promise you, take this one over the Alpine. Not dissing the Alpine because I love it too, but this one is the same price, same physical size, and puts out more power. I've been running it on 1 4ohm 12" (I gave up on soldering the other one) and the sound is something I would expect from a $500 amp and $300 high end sub. With the 2 12's hooked up it was too much for me and I used to rock 4 Punch 12's in my younger days.

l bought this amp knowing Pioneer has been in the audio business for so long. l'm not disapointed, it pushes my 10" Kicker in a sealed enclosure very hard! l'm very impressed with the power output and the amp is so small. l have it hidden under the front passenger seat and it doesn't get very hot too.

I had this amp hooked up to two 12 sony xplods and it quaked. People didnt believe that those were sonys. I just recently blew those subs. Now I think Im getting some kickers.

This is a pretty cool amp. I bought it with a 12'' sub! I though that was a great deal, having a limited budget. It worked out perfectly. It looks quite nice next to my old school pioneer premier 4 channel. The only problem I had was the sound wasn't coming out of the sub (by my own user error) So I called up tech support, they were fast and got to the point and within 10 minutes I was on my way to bass!!! Thanks Crutchfield!! :)
