I have a pair of these set up in a Free-Air application even though they're not technically designed for it, but they sound quite amazing. I have owned Kenwood and MTX subs in the past and these are by far my favorite. These speakers are ideal for a lower power system and do not dissapoint. If you're looking to be heard 3 blocks away these are not for you. But if you want something that adds what is missing to your music and more these are perfect. I have owned a pair for almost 2 years and they are holding up just like when I pulled them out of the box.

Got these a couple weeks ago, and now they're just about broken in. I have them hooked up to a pioneer GM-5300T ( 2x125w RMS @ 4Ohm) so they're a bit underpowered, have them in a sealed box at about 3.5 cubic ft. so far they sound great, they are much cleaner than my previous mtx's. they produce good bass response on all kinds of music. i am very happy with these but it is time to pick up some more dynamat!

I had two old school pioneer's that hit harder then these subs, but they are good soundin an crisp, I don't like the fact that it only hit's 20-90 hertz I mean it's pioneer I figured they would hit to 200. But I can't be disappointed, it sound great, I had it running off my receiver in my house it is 660 watt's an I had it in a small ported box with a crossover built in an it sounded good, but they were still pretty stiff. I got my car back an throw it in the trunk with a 50" long ported box's an man did it pound, I had a 300 watt old school amp, An it's finally broke in. Great sub for a good price. I'm fixin to get the 3000 watt pioneer sub. I would recommend it. Just not a enough low's for me.

This sub is a really good intro to the world of sub woofers. it was really easy to install and after a little bit of tweaking on the amp i was able to get a lot of sound out of one of these.
