Hooked this Polk PSW125 up to my Onkyo TX-NR 515 and Panasonic plasma. Was immediately concerned that is would be too punishing to tolerate because it was rattling the floor. Then I ran the Audyssey speaker calibration program. Wow, what a difference! Now it spanks the bass when called for and doesn't intrude at the wrong time. Works equally well for movies, music and satellite tv. Love this unit and find it much better than the Infinity that it replaced. I have this in a big room (20 x 20) with 9 foot ceilings. It fills the space with terrific bass.

Boom Boom Boom! This sub is great! Really enhances the sound and listening
experience of my entire system. Attractive cabinet, easily set up, AWESOME
sound. Would definitely recommend this product as part of your new sound system!

As stated many times over, this unit is big, but beautiful.
Solid construction and rich sound that we've come to expect from Polk. Easily adjusted output level to match the rest of my Polk speakers.

I ordered this from Crutchfield on Monday and received it on Friday. I have it connected to a Yamaha RX-V663 receiver, using it in a 5.1 system. It is great with music or when used while watching movies or gaming. It has more than enough power for my 15x18 living room, providing plenty of deep bass for the area. During one of the first movies that we watched it rumbled the pictures off the wall above it.
I ordered the Cherry finish and I am very pleased with the real wood veneer.
NOTE: It requires a subwoofer cable.
