Great sub. I only have one in the back seat of my 03 Dodge Ram Duad Cab and it shakes good. My amp is only 400 watts. I wish i had more power. Also make sure your box is big enough. Because of space my box is only .5 cubic feet and .8 cubic feet is the recomended minimum.

This is by far the best sub I have ever owned. Even before it was broke in this sub was capable of tremendous bass. My main objective was to compliment front components in a pickup without using a lot of space. It does this and more. I have always thought Kicker was only for serious thumping, this added the smooth bass I was looking for, plus it still has the ability for seriously loud accurate bass. All of this in a 10" sealed enclosure.

After reading several of the posts, I decided to buy a pair of the compvr 10s to trade out my miserable old 10s. Both are dual voice, 4Ohm, 300W RMS subs btw. Dual 10s in a sealed, chambered .9cu feet box connected to an 250g4 in mono bridged 1 ohm configuration sourced by an Alpine cda-9886 hu. All I can say is WOW! These subs blew away (literally!) the old subs. No comparison. They took everything my amp could throw up at them with no distortion. Unbelieveable! the SPL in my small two seater was physically unbearable after about 60 seconds. I will never have it up that high unless I'm outside the car in a competition or just showing off the raw power of the subs. I am extremely happy with them and how they sound. Like they said in the old days, " Those things HIT!" ;)

I wasn't impressed at first compared to the Stillwater Designs of the early 90's which were the bomb. I put them in a 1.25 sealed and they sounded ok but not what I was looking for so I put my Kappa Perfects back in. I recently picked up a .71 cf dual down fire (Silverado) enclosure and pulled those CVR's out of the garage stuffed them with poly fill and they straight rocked. Nothing like I've heard in years. I'm running an Alpine Mrd M301 on each sub; about 350 rms @ 2 ohms each. I gave them a 4 because they don't sound better than my Kappa Perfects, they won't fit in my enclosure. Good sub and I recommend for sq. and decent price. Just make sure you have the right enclosure.

I have two of these hooked to a profile ap1200 in my sliverado ext. cab. These things knock hard on rap or rock. I even have these subs underpowered and they hit way hard. Very clear sound.
