My problem was 16" studs not centered where I needed them to center a 37" LCD
TV. The width of the wall mounting plate allowed me shift the whole thing to
where the TV is now centered.

The Sanus VMPL50 is a very simple yet sturdy universal plasma/LCD wall mount.
All the required parts were included in the box along with very easy to read
instructions. I would recommend this for anybody that is looking for a basic
wall mount. For $79.99 and free shipping it was a very good deal.

We purchased a mount from a different store that said it was rated for 35-50
inches, drilled out the holes put it up and found out that this mount is not
universal. It was about a half inch to narrow for our TV (42 inch Panasonic). We
then looked on Crutchfield's site and found this one. We called them by phone
and they made sure it was wide enough. We ordered this and got it within 3 days.
It was very easy to put up. The hardware comes in a long sleeve of sealed
compartments so its easy to find what you need. It took us less than 45 min to
get this on the wall and TV mounted. The only thing I did not like was there is
an Allen set screw that locks the two parts of the mount together when you mate
the TV mount to the wall mount that is pretty hard to get to so you can do just
a half turn or so on long screw. This part alone was about 10 min, just turning
that Allen wrench. You may want to find a long handled Allen wrench and save
yourself some time.
This is our 3rd purchase from Crutchfield this year, I cant recommend them
enough.

The second one have bought from Crutchfield's , a very good value it does what I
wanted. Just as Crutchfield's is the BEST VALUE any person could ever want!

I ordered this model because I liked the price and I wanted a TV mount that would hold either of two TVs that I have. One of the TVs is a 32" and the other is a 40". Another must for me was a mount that would securely attach across two wall studs. This mount did all that I wanted. The mounting base was long enough to cover two studs which made it easy to get my TV centered on the wall. The mount arrived right when it was supposed to and all the parts were neatly packed and ready for installation. The assembly was simple and I am very satisfied with the results.
