About the Clarion CMM-30

Cool features, hot sound
Cool features, hot sound
With its smooth styling, cutting-edge technology, and marine-rated toughness, Clarion's CMM-30 marine digital media receiver will add sound and style to your boat. This versatile receiver includes built-in Bluetooth®, lots of connectivity options, and 4-channel pre-amp outputs, among other cool features. It's also ready to plug into your existing NMEA 2000 network.
Built-in Bluetooth® 5.0 and more
How do you like to play music on your boat? The CMM-30 lets you stream music from your smartphone or any other Bluetooth device. You can plug your iPhone into the rear USB port and enjoy all your favourite MP3 or WMA tunes, plus album art. And you can also play tunes from your digital music player using the AUX input.
All set for SiriusXM®
If you're a SiriusXM satellite radio subscriber (or plan to be), the CMM-30 works with select SiriusXM tuners (sold separately, subscription required). You'll enjoy a vast selection of music, news, entertainment and sports programming, as far as 100 miles offshore.
Ready to go, ready to grow
Clarion built this rugged marine receiver to last, but it's also designed to deliver outstanding sound. The 5-band parametric EQ lets you adjust the highs, mids, and lows to suit your preferences, and you can use the built-in frequency filters and subwoofer controls to get the best possible performance from your system. The preamp outputs will allow you to expand your system in the future.
Four distinct audio zones
The CMM-30 gives you four-zone audio control, so you can split the boat into four distinct areas to suit your needs. Each zone can be controlled by a compatible Clarion wired remote (sold separately).
Tune in terrestrial radio
Clarion's outstanding AM/FM tuner hauls in plenty of local radio stations, no matter where "local" happens to be. You'll also be able to get the latest on changing conditions from the NOAA Weather Band, including automatic reception of emergency info.
Fit and functionality
This compact receiver fits into tight spaces, while the oversized face features rubberized, backlit buttons that add visual punch and improve nighttime usability. The colour LCD display gives you the information you need with just a glance. The CMM-30 also works with Clarion's CMR-10, CMR-20, and CMR-30 marine remotes. A rubber front-panel cover is included to protect the unit when not in use.
Ready for life on the water
The CMM-30's front panel is IP66-certified to give you best-in-class water intrusion and salt water protection. On the inside, rubber gaskets and integrated drainage channels keep water out. The face is also UV-treated, so it'll stand up to broiling sunlight for seasons to come.
Bluetooth note: Use of this receiver's Bluetooth features will depend upon your phone's Bluetooth capabilities. Learn more in our article explaining Bluetooth profiles.
Note: The CMM-30 can be exposed to water-spray, but cannot be submerged in water.
This marine digital media receiver will not play CDs.

Marine & Mounting Features
Marine Certified: The Clarion CMM-30 features an IP66-rated weatherproof construction design that protects the digital media receiver from exposure to water-spray and dust. Utilizing UV-treated, durable, marine-rated materials, the Clarion CMM-30 digital media receiver is built to endure the harsh marine environment. It is built to exceed industry standards for salt-fog exposure (ASTM B117), UV exposure (ASTM D4329), and vibration resistance (3.0G) - ensuring excellent long-term durability.
Note: The CMM-30 can be exposed to water-spray, but cannot be submerged in water.
Mounting Options: The Clarion CMM-30 requires a rectangular cutout in the bulkhead for inserting the chassis. Four screws (supplied) fasten the unit against the mounting surface, and hold the waterproof gasket against the bulkhead. A cardboard template is supplied to assist you with the cutout and drilling the screw holes.
- Cutout Dimensions: 3.695" (w) x 3.095" (h) x 4.755" (d)
