These are my first MB Quart speakers and I like them a lot, I have JL C1 6.5" components in another car on an active crossover and these have similar midbass but greater detail in the midrange frequencies. The tweeter is just ok,for the first time ever I had to bump up the tweeter frequencies with an equilizer which is saying something because I have my JL tweeters at -6db and minimum gain. I am powering these off a single din head unit so I can't judge them too much until I can get them on an amp. Overall this is a great upgrade for most factory audio systems.

Pros: -Midbass -Detail

Cons: -Needs a louder tweeter

MB Quart, is not quite like the MB Quart of old, however these speakers are very impressive for the price point beating out the quality of other brands much more expensive components

The MB Quart rs1-216 6.5" component speaker set. These MB Quart component set are very good for the money, I've owned several component sets from several different manufacturers that cost considerably more and did not sound as crisp as these MB Quarts do. If your into sound quality but do not want to spend a pretty penny on some high end focal than I say these are for you. I would also like to point out that Crutchfield was the only online store who had them in stock, coupled with fast shipping you can't go wrong. Thanks CRUTCHFIELD!!.

Pros: Rated at 55 rms per speaker and tweeter you don't need alot of power to run them.

Cons: None so far.

Speakers sound great! Extra harness from Crutchfield was a waste, simply duplicated what Chevy already had as stock. Also I question the tweeters, they came with female connectors, but the cross over required bare wire. The factory originals had no foam left on the cones. No wonder they sounded awful.
