how is the bass in the db 462s?

I have had these for a while in the back of my 92 Vette and they sound great. The bass comes through nicely and I can kick it up quite well without distortion. This is only amplified by my Pioneer 4200 NEX head unit.

Sorry, can't really answer about bass from these speakers. I have 2 of the rockford fosgate sub boxes under my rear seat for most of my bass(coupled with their own amp). These are installed in my back doors. They do seem to play loud and clear.

Good brand!! The bass in these polk speakers is really nothing special though and I have been a polk enthusiast with towers and surrounds in my home theater. Also, I generally have subs to most effectively round out the low-end, so maybe I've grown accustomed to that. The car with these polks had no sub which could be my bias.
