The Metra 99-7384B dash and wiring kit allows you to install and connect a new single-DIN (2" tall) or double-DIN (4" tall) aftermarket stereo in your Kia's dash opening while maintaining your vehicle's steering wheel audio controls, climate display, auxiliary input, and rear-view camera (if present).
Smart adapters
The included Axxess ASWC-1 module retains your steering wheel audio controls, while the AX-CAM6V adapter supplies the 6-volt power you'll need for your Kia's rear-view camera. The included wiring harness retains your 12-volt auxiliary power, and also supplies the speed sense output you'll need to connect a navigation receiver.
Factory fit and finish
The dash kit features a black and grey painted finish that matches your Kia's dash. The package also includes a replacement climate control display panel that shows you fan speed, mode, and temperature.
Note: This kit is designed for Optimas with automatic climate control and without a Kia amplifier. The radio trim panel in these vehicles is difficult to remove, so it's important to follow removal instructions carefully.

Double-DIN/Single-DIN Dash Kit: The Metra 99-7384B Radio Replacement Installation Package includes an dash kit that will house most double-DIN or Single-DIN aftermarket head units. A pocket is provided for Single-DIN installations only. The included dash kit is painted and countoured to match your vehicle's factory dash.
Climate Display: The Metra 99-7384B includes a climate display which indicates fan speed, mode, and temperature. This information was displayed on the factory radio before it was removed to install your new aftermarket head unit.
Retains Backup Camera: The Metra 99-7384B will retain your Kia Optima's factory backup camera through a composite video connection and 12-volt to 6-volt converter. Your new aftermarket head unit must be equipped with composite video rear-view camera input and feature a display monitor.
Aux Input Retention: The 99-7384B retains your Kia Optima's factory Aux input through the use of a set of male stereo RCA jacks. Your aftermarket stereo will need to be equipped with a rear-panel Aux input. If your aftermarket stereo's Aux input is 3.5mm minijack, then you will also need a minijack-to-RCA adapter (sold separately).
Steering Wheel Control Interface: The included steering wheel control interface lets you retain your vehicle's factory steering wheel controls when used with a steering wheel control compatible aftermarket receiver that features a 3.5mm or single wire steering wheel control input.
