You want to upgrade the stereo in your 2020-up Ford, but you don't want to lose important factory features. Axxess' Total Control Series AXTC-FD3 interface retains your steering wheel audio controls, along with your balance and fade controls and Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.). It also supplies a 12-volt accessory power connection, plus the connections (including reverse, speed pulse, and parking brake) that you'll need to install a car stereo with GPS navigation. The interface's Auto-Detect feature automatically detects vehicle type, radio connection, and preset controls to make programming simple. The Total Control Series interface works with all major car stereo brands.
Note: The AXTC-FD3 does not retain SYNC® and is designed to work only with non-amplified systems.

Steering Wheel Controls: The Axxess Integrate AXTC-FD3 offers built-in SWC letting you retain your vehicle's factory steering wheel controls (no additional adapter required). Your aftermarket radio must be steering wheel control ready. The AXTC-FD3 utilizes patented Auto-Detect technology that automatically detects the vehicle type, radio connection and preset controls, while allowing the ability to dual assign steering wheel controls. In addition to Auto-Detect, it can be manually programmed and will retain settings even after battery disconnection or interface removal.
Backup Camera: The AXTC-FD3 will retain the factory backup camera in 2020-up Ford Transit and Transit Connect without factory SYNC. The camera video image will display on the aftermarket radio's LCD monitor and not on the factory mirror. The interface features a male composite video jack the will plug into your aftermarket radio's female composite video camera input.
Note: For Ford Transit or Transit Connect that have factory Sync; or E-Series, Eco Sport, Escape and F-Series vehicles you'll also need the Axxess Integrate AXBUCH-FD1 backup camera retention harness (sold separately) in order to retain your vehicle's factory backup camera.
RAP (Retained Accessory Power): The AXTC-FD3 is compatible with your vehicle's RAP (Retained Accessory Power) feature, which keeps the radio on until one of the doors is opened.
12V/10A Accessory Output: Since there is no 12V accessory wire in the vehicle's factory harness, the AXTC-FD3 is designed to provide a 12V/10A switched accessory output to your new aftermarket stereo, preventing you from having to run an accessory wire to the fuse box or underneath the steering column.
Navigation Outputs: The Axxess Integrate AXTC-FD3 provides navigation outputs (VSS, Parking Brake, and Reverse) to help ease the installation process of an aftermarket navigation stereo.
