You want to replace the stock radio in your Honda, but you don't want to lose the video cameras, AUX IN jack, and your clock, along with your balance and fade controls. The Axxess HDCC-02 wiring interface lets you connect a new stereo while retaining these functions, and also providing accessory power and outputs for a navigation receiver. This interface works in Hondas with or without a factory amplifier.

Keep your radio's functions

You want to replace the stock radio in your Honda, but you don't want to lose the video cameras, AUX IN jack, and your clock, along with your balance and fade controls. The Axxess HDCC-02 wiring interface lets you connect a new stereo while retaining these functions, and also providing accessory power and outputs for a navigation receiver. This interface works in Hondas with or without a factory amplifier.

With the Axxess ASWC-1 adapter (sold separately), you'll also be able to retain your steering wheel audio controls; the HDCC-02 includes a pre-wired harness to connect the ASWC-1. Replace the radio, keep the features.

Retained Features: The Axxess HDCC-02 radio replacement interface module allows you to replace the factory radio in select 2012-up Honda vehicles with an aftermarket head unit and retain certain factory features; such as Aux input, amplifier, and steering wheel controls (optional SWC adapter required).

  • Amplified or Non-Amplified Systems: The Axxess HDCC-02 works with factory amplified and non-amplified systems. If equipped, it will retain the factory amplifier and factory subwoofer in your vehicle along with balance & fade control.
  • OEM Aux Input: To retain the vehicle's factory Aux input, your aftermarket head unit must have a rear-panel Aux input (male minijack to female stereo RCA adapter may be required, sold separately).
  • Factory Cameras: Through the HDCC-02's composite video harness and the camera input on your aftermarket head unit, you are able to retain your vehicle's factory backup & LaneWatch cameras.
  • Clock Display: The Axxess radio replacement interface module retains the ability to change your vehicle's factory clock, even after the factory radio is replaced with an aftermarket head unit.
  • Steering Wheel Control Compatible: The included wiring harness features a right-angle 3.5mm connector that lets you keep your vehicle's factory steering wheel controls via the Axxess steering wheel control interface adapter (120ASWC1, sold separately). *The Honda Fit requires a hardwired connection for the Axxess steering wheel control interface.

+12V/10A Accessory Output: In many Honda vehicles, there is no 12-volt accessory wire in the factory harness, which requires the installer to run an accessory wire to the fuse box or underneath the steering column when installing an aftermarket radio. The HDCC-02 is designed to provide a 12V/10A switched accessory output (red wire).

Navigation Outputs: The Axxess HDCC-02 radio replacement interface module provides Parking Brake, VSS (vehicle speed sense), and Reverse Gear outputs to make installing an aftermarket navigation radio simpler and less time consuming.

I intend to use this to retain both cameras on my aftermarket head unit that has two inputs, but I notice that there is only one output. Do I need to use a rca splitter for the second camera?

I have a 2015 crv , I replace my stock HU with Generic android HU with RCA CAM-IN..it comes with a canbus , so my steering wheel buttons works well, my reverse and right turn also triggers this HU but of course without video feed,,I wonder will this work on generic Android HU??I just want to retain my cameras

I'm not sure. I bought it originally with my alpine system to hook it up to my steering wheel controls. And it did not work. I ordered a new one thinking the wiring interface was broken but even with the new one it didn't work. Then I hooked everything up without the interface and it worked.

Hello Texas I have a 2014 civic coupe lx and I changed factory audio unit for a Pioneer w navigation and steering control works immediately after I finish the instructions and I did it by myself even apple car play I hope U have a good luck and trust the crutchfield team Bye

Jake from Philadelphia wrote "The issue is that the wiring harness they send you needs modifications and you need to connect to pins that are not there. They could've just sent you a few more wires to go into the main harness. In order to get the wires, you have to buy another harness and destroy it to get out the wires. " Does anyone know what wires these are? Thanks!

When it says you can keep lane watch and backup camera does that mean it can send the video to an aftermarket one? Looking at the JVC KW-V830BT for my 2014 Civic Ex. That unit says it only has one video input I noticed, but wondering if this enables to work from the same input or can you splice into from both cameras?

I have a 2016 CRV with lanewatch and backup camera. It only has one video input for both cameras so the hdcc-02 should work if its similar to my crv. However i would not recommend using the interface again. It is absolute junk. The backup camera has a fush eyes view instead of fullscreen. The picture flickers when using lanewatch. And both cameras look whitewashed. If i do replace mine i will go with the pac audio rp4-hd11.

I just had that installed in my 2016 CRV and both the rear and side cameras work. However, the second and smaller screen in the CRV - the day date and time is not perfect.

The unit only has one video output. It will recieve the signal from the car (whether you're in reverse or indicating right) and it will display the correct video output to the recieving unit, just as it would for factory.

It's very interesting how the HDCC-02 handles that. The adapter received the video for both cameras. It then decides which camera to feed the input of your stereo. If it sees your reverse lights on, it passes through the reverse camera. If it sees your right blinker on, it passes through the LaneWatch camera. As far as your stereo is concerned, you are in "reverse" for either one, it just shows you the camera that is passed through by the adapter. I should point out two things, though. First of all, because it is triggered by your right blinker LIGHT and not the actual blinker HANDLE, the LaneWatch camera is triggered both when you are turning right AND when you have your hazards on. It's a little irritating, but not a deal breaker. The other thing I should point out is a little more troubling: I tried this with two different aftermarket head units. Both of them had this same issue (though I still think that it is the head units that I was using). The video of the camera ends up very over exposed, high contrast, and low framerate. This makes the camera almost unusable in some cases. The video quality really was terrible. However, this would only be the case after the head unit had finished booting up. If I triggered the camera while the head unit was still in its boot sequence (before it is had the chance to post-process the video), the video was perfect (which is what is leading me to believe that the issue lies in the stereo, not the adapter.

Through the HDCC-02's composite video harness and the camera input on your aftermarket head unit, you are able to retain your vehicle's factory backup & LaneWatch cameras.
