Product Research

Features

Overview: This package includes one T-Spec VFDB2 compact, 2-position distribution block that will accept mini-ANL fuses (sold separately). The solid brass construction, with flat-black finish, gives you maximum conductivity. The distribution block is installed inside a durable base with a translucent, impact-resistant removable cover. Two holes in the base are provided for mounting, using either screws or wire ties (not included).

Configuration: The distribution block has one input, accepting either 4 or 1/0 AWG wire, and two outputs for either 4 or 8 AWG wires. Each output requires a mini-ANL fuse (sold separately). A rubber grommet and sleeve is provided on the input as well as the two outputs. The output grommets can be removed, with only the rubber sleeve installed, allowing 4 ga. wire to be inserted.

Set Screws: The wire connections are secured with Torx set-screws. A Torx T-20 driver is required to tighten or loosen the set screws.

Optional Ferrules: Install Bay (Metra) wire ferrules (sold separately) are designed to crimp onto your power, ground, or speaker wire and provide a clean, solid connection to your terminal block or amplifier with set-screw connections. Bare wire is slid into the length of the ferrule and then crimped onto the wire. This keeps all copper strands held tightly together, with no splaying while tightening the terminal connection. Install Bay wire ferrules can be found here.

Q
Hi, I need a 10ga feed from a 4ga distribution block. Is there a sleeve or similar that could be used to run 10ga out from one of the outputs of this?

A 10 gauge set screw terminal should do the trick. We do not offer any at the time of this post. That may change in the future and I recommend contacting an advisor by calling 1-800-324-9695 to check.

Not the best way but you could cut small pieces of wires to take up space in lug, just make them short enough not to stick out.

Q
What amp for fuse is required?
