They sound great.

Pros:

Cons: Mounting screws seem to be in non-standard placement. They didn't line up with any of the holes on the original installation, nor with the spacers that Crutchfield sent, but I was able to make it work.

Greatly improve sound in my '96 Sport Nautique. I have two pairs powered by a JL XD600/6v2 with an 8w3 in a ported box. These sound so much better than factory speakers powered by the head unit and are able to play louder than I'd ever want. It's no surprise they are and improvement but they far exceeded my expectations. I face mounted them as opposed to the factory method of behind mesh integrated into the upholstery which probably helps the sound quality some too.

I really love how crisp the sound is with these speakers. Hooked them up with the JL amp and now I can't go up more than half of the volume without risking an eardrum rupture but still crisp. Love it! Worth the extra money :)

I bought these to replace factory standard Sonys that we're getting on in age and I can't believe the difference. They sound amazing. They're running through a kicker amp and can put out a ton of volume before any distortion kicks in. Overall very happy with this purchase.

These were on back order with no expected ship date however they shipped about two weeks after ordering. Arrived as expected without damage, very well packaged. Amazing sound on my Sportsman - well worth the money if you are looking to upgrade!

Easy to install. Great sound. Considerable improvement over factory speakers. Handles lows so well a sub woofer not necessary. Connected to an Audio Control LC8i and a Kicker amp there is power to spare.

These speakers sound amazing. I was worried that the speakers being mounted so low in the boat might take away from the performance but with the fusion amp it wasn't an issue.
