Nice Easy Upgrade

I installed these speakers in the front doors of a 2021 Kia Forte LXS with the base 4 speaker system. The stock system was very muddy sounding at anything thing over low volume. These speakers greatly improved the clarity at higher volumes. I might have lost a bit of the low end compared to the stock speakers, but the low end is what washed out the mids and highs and made it sound poorly. I am running these off the factory head unit right now, but looking into adding an amp to push them. Overall, I am pretty happy with the upgrade, especially how easy they were to install, thanks to Crutchfield including detailed instructions and install gear.

09 Chevy Cobalt, Big sound

I had purchased this car off my brother-in-law with the door speakers blown. I had also received an older Pioneer DVD/Divx/Bluetooth Double Din stereo from one of my best buddies. I was in the market for upgrade door speakers considering the OEM were still relatively spendy. I went with the nearly 5 star rated CS46 Kickers. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality for very reasonable. I think I spent $100 bucks for the speakers, the baffles and the wired adapters. Perfectly priced for such an improved sound quality. I was able to rip the old speaker cones off the OEM brackets and then I used my dremel tool to cut and grind off enough of the OEM bracket to mount the speakers and baffles with no issues. Incredible speakers for the money. Would recommend! Driving a 2009 Chevy Cobalt LS Coupe, better than factory

Great sound.

Sounds great, paired with Boss 80w stereo. Better bass than the Rockford fosgate speakers I have in another car. Will buy this again. Install was tricky because crutch field didn't recommend the required brackets for my 02 Avalanche, but I won't hold that against the speaker.

Very Bright

Sound clarity is great, however, these speakers are very bright and the tweeters are a little harsh. This is also a personal preference, I lean more towards warm sounding speakers. If i knew just how bright these were I may have gone with different speakers, but I am still mostly happy with my purchase and sound has definitely improved in my car!

Beautiful Sound and Look

Bought these 2 days ago and they arrived early. My girlfriend has the same ones for her 2015 Smart Fortwo Pure. I have installed four of these into my 2006 Honda Insight Hybrid which fit the rear wall and both doors. Super easy install, took me no more than 10 minutes. It would have taken less time had one of the adapters provided been cut out right. There's supposed to be two small squares cutout at the bottom to match my cars speaker plugs but one of the adapters had not been cut right so I had to resort to cutting the old connector off and using the wire provided instead and crimping them together. Works like a damn charm (not hard if you know what you're doing. Otherwise, crimping is super easy). Love how they sound. I used my Sony AX150 carplay radio to set the EQ preset to Hip-Hop for a little more oomph in my music style. These speakers are killer. Just a note to other buyers, definitely invest in the 3 or 4 year warranty. My girlfriend had hers for maybe 2 or 3 years and didn't get the warranty. They had blown already. Now we believe it had something to do with somehow receiving too much power someway so she's since gotten new ones (Crutchfield was so nice to replace for her for free as long as returning the old pairs) and invested in an amp to protect each of her speakers. I however am just running the speakers. I do not expect the same thing to happen but if you are worried about it, definitely make the investment. TLDR - Amazing

Great Speaker for the price

Great sounding speaker for the price. With the adapters they send for free speakers matched right up, connected with the adapter to stock wires with no issues. All four doors took me maybe 30 minutes to installed them all. Sounds great. No complaints.

Great for Older Trucks w/ Small Cabs

Put these in place of some 30 year old speakers that I could not even figure out the manufacture of anymore. These work great in my single cab pickup, along with some 4" dash speakers. You aren't going to get crazy pounding bass, but you will hear the bass, and I can finally hear music on the highway with the AC on (windows open)!

Ideal option!

These fit perfect in my wife's 2002 RSX . The speaker spacer was easy to use . Easy to put together . Wiring harness clipped right in . All of it plug and play . Really Nice Upgrade from Factory

Installed 4 of these in my 2017 Equinox. What a difference in the clarity especially voices!!! Well worth the upgrade from the factory originals and I am very pleased with the improvement. There is a lot more mid bass than factory too. I highly recommend these inexpensive speakers even without a sub they are quite good. They surprised me for sure.

Crutchfield is great, these speakers are not. I've had three pairs all of which begin vibrating and making weird noises after 3 to 6 months of use. Crutchfield will send another pair but getting tired of replacing them so I ordered some JBL's, a little bit more moneybut hopefully they're better.

Do not buy

These speakers are terrible. They sound bad, especially if the volume is up, there's no bass, they sound distorted, they're actually worse than the factory speakers in my 2000 cherokee. Extremely disappointed, especially for the price.

Great sound for our old pickup!

We added 4 of these to our 2008 Colorado crew cab pickup and what a difference they made over the factory speakers! Wonderful bass, treble and midrange on the old girl! Now grandma and grandpa rocks the truck when headed to the ranch!

Good speakers to repalce factory ones.

Crutchfield website for determining what fit my vehicle was great. Shipping was free and just as fast as A****n and other sites. The big plus here is the support you get if it is needed. I picked these speakers as I just needed something to replace the factory speakers. I'm no audiophile but just wanted something inexpensive to listen to AM / FM radio. The vehicle is a 2002 2500HD crew cab, factory radio system. I had replaced the front door speakers once. These speakers were a direct fit replacement right down to the screw holes for the mounts. I knocked one star off the review for the connection point of the wiring harness on the speaker itself. The wire adapter kit that Crutchfield sent (Metra I believe) fit the factory plug perfectly. However the connection point on the speaker for the push on spade, while appearing to be well made, is a little flimsy if one has to push the spade connector with a lot of effort. I placed a flat head screwdriver under the connection point of the male spade on the speaker to just give it a firm backing while I pushed the female spade on. After replacing all the speakers the sound was back and while I haven't taken a road trip yet, sitting in my driveway they sounded much better than what I had. I feel that if you are looking for something to replace the factory speakers with a little upgrade these will fit well and are budget friendly.

Fantastic quality! Huge upgrade from stock!

These Kicker door speakers are a HUGE upgrade from the factory 2014 Ford Fusion speakers. The OEM front speakers had blown out and rattled. After searching Crutchfield, I decided on the CSC65. Installation was a breeze with the included wiring harness adapter and speaker mounting adapter. Took maybe 45 minutes for both speakers from start to finish!

Not going to lie, it was extremely daunting for me while opening the packaging seeing that I would have to splice wires. After mounting the brackets to the speakers I found it came with the wiring for plug and play. Literally took 5 minutes to install these. Times like this make me appreciate this company even more, takes out all of the guess work. New speakers sound great

Great sound for small speakers. Nice upgrade from factory speakers, difference is huge. Rear speakers don't sound as much as the front ones but it should be because the HU don't send same power to rear than in front. But still sound great !!

Great factory replacement

These went into the rear doors on a 2016 F150 Lariat. They are a great factory replacement. Sound quality is great! Mids and highs are crisp and clean. Install was easy. Took about 15 minutes per side. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the brackets had to be modified slightly. Not a big deal, but had to drill a hole in the side of the bracket for the speaker wires to go through. The connection is on the door , not in the speaker hole. Like I said. Not a big deal. Great speakers!

Massive improvement over stock. I am currently using stock head unit so I can't provide enough power to get them to distort. Very very clear highs. Little bass. Not too much to be expected from a 3 1/2 though

Great experience

Was impressed w the overall experience. Crutchfield really has their act together. I have an older '08 Xterra w an older deck (not original equipment). Following the instructions and the addition of brackets and speaker connectors that Crutchfield provided at not extra cost was impressive. The Kicker speakers seem to be exactly what I needed. So far so good one day in. Will be looking at replacing my rear speakers and of course will be looking to Crutchfield.

Great sound at affordable price, good highs and deep lows, excellent mid range too, a must upgrade over factory speakers, I replace my olds Pionner 3 ways with this and found they sound much better, I highly recommend this pair, not so easy to remove the factory rivets, you must modify a little the bracket for the speaker wire to fit.

Perfect replacement for my factory speakers in my 2014 Ford Fusion. Took a bit to figure how to install (put in wrong first time, my fault). Sound is great. Only thing is, the screws they sent with speakers were not the right size, luckily I had some on hand that fit. Other that that, it only took me abouy 3 hours for the whole install.
