Thanks to a special 6-1/2" flat-profile woofer design, the Cento Series sound is a fit in more vehicles. The CK 165 F component speaker system employs a separate Tetolon® dome tweeter for detailed sound defined by a natural timbre and smooth transitions. The semi-pressed paper and mica powder woofer cone delivers your music's lower frequencies with accuracy and impact — and, at 1-3/4" deep, these woofers will fit in almost any vehicle. Superior damping is also key to the sound of these speakers — minimized resonance reduces distortion for Hertz's famous truer-to-life sound. The system's external, compact crossovers feature two tweeter levels help you dial in the best sound in your vehicle.

Size Classification Note: Some manufacturers, including Hertz, call this size woofer a 6½". Because it requires a larger cutout than a standard 6½" speaker, Crutchfield has traditionally referred to this size speaker as a 6¾". Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit.
Klippel Verified: The Klippel distortion analyzer, a device that uses a laser and computer software to do large-scale analysis of drivers in motion, helps Hertz optimize the speaker's motor structure, voice coil alignment, and suspension to yield the best possible performance.
Tweeter Mounting: Brackets are included for flush mounting and angled surface mounting (60° or 30°) the tweeters.
Note: We've found some Hertz speakers with the wrong size tweeter template on the box. Before cutting, make sure the template has the correct diameter.

Crossovers: Each crossover has a tweeter output level switch; choose between 0dB (flat) and +3dB. The crossover point is 2.5 kHz and the slope is 12 dB/octave (low pass and high pass). The inputs and outputs are screw terminals that will accept bare wire or spade connectors up to 0.315" wide. The woofer has quick slide terminals, so crimp-on terminals can be added (item number 120FQS10PK, sold separately) to provide the needed terminals.
