Features

TV Compatibility: The Kanto FMC1 full-motion corner wall-mount bracket supports 40" to 60" flat-panel TVs that weigh up to 88 lbs. The TV must also meet the following VESA and screw size requirements.

  • VESA Sizes: 100x100mm to 600x400mm
  • Screw Size: M5, M6, or M8

Note: Additional hardware may be required for your specific model of TV. For example; shorter or longer screws, thicker or slimmer washers or spacers. These additional accessories can often be found at your local hardware store.

Solid Steel Construction: The Kanto FMC1 full-motion corner wall-mount TV bracket is constructed out of solid steel and features a black powder-coated finish.

Corner Installation: Unlike other full-motion mounts, the FMC1's unique 90° wall-plate can be mounted squarely in the corner of any wood stud or concrete wall. Its contoured design ensures each lag bolt can be properly secured, regardless of how your studs are configured. Tools required for installation include -

  • Drill
  • 7/32" bit (wood), 3/8" bit (masonry)
  • Socket wrench
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Hammer
  • Stud finder
  • Level
  • Pencil
  • Tape Measure

Full-Motion Design: The FMC1's telescoping support arm extends 20.437" to 29.8125" from the corner, providing enough space for TVs as large as 60". When sufficiently extended, this full-motion TV mount is capable of swivelling up to 90° left and right. This allows you to place your TV against the adjacent walls, or to make simple adjustments to your viewing angle. The FMC1 also tilts 10° forwards and 6° backwards to reduce glare and improve line-of-sight with your wall-mounted TV.

Cable Management: The Katno FMC1 comes with cable management straps to help you route your cables up to your mounted television.

Customer Q&A

Q
Is there any mounts on the market like this exact one that will fit a smaller tv such as a 32 inch?
raynond  Jan 08, 2023
1 answer
A
There may be ones that have a single post but for a 32" TV which we unfortunately don't carry. We do sell other Kanto mounts that fit smaller TVs that are articulating and corner mounts but have a dual post. If that could possibly work or some other possible variation then please give us a call at 800.324.9695 and our friendly advisors can show you what options we have available for your situation.

Q
Will this work with a TV that has 100 x 200 VESA pattern?

Yes it will.

A
This mount does support a 100 x 200 VESA mounting pattern that some TV's use as long as the TV weighs no more than 88 lbs

Q
Can you mount a sound bar on these mounts?
doug  Feb 03, 2021

A
We did not try, we attended it the shelf just below the Tv.Enter
jo ann  Feb 04, 2021
A
I bought separate bars for attaching a sound bar to this mount. Otherwise duct tape would work too.
curtis  Feb 04, 2021
A
Yes you can. The method will vary depending on where your particular soundbar mounting points are located in relation to the vesa mounts spacing on your tv. You may need an aftermarket adapter bracket, or if you are handy, you can easily custom make it if you have any thin metal and some black spray paint laying around. Add a spacer between the tv and the mount to allow space the head of the bolt/screw used to attach metal bracket to the tv mount and attach the other end to the soundbar. I used 2 of the 4 dog ears left over parts for another tv mount I installed. They required just drilling a hole a little larger to bolt to tv mount. They were already black which made it easy.

Q
I want to mount this in the corner but only want to go into one stud, the other side is a plastic window . will that work?
larry  Nov 26, 2020
3 answers
A
It is possible as long as you can get 2 bolts in the stud. You will have to be the judge as to whether it could damage your plastic window frame, which is likely if it comes in contact with the mount when you tighten the mount down.
mark  Feb 03, 2021
A
Refer to the instructions and consider that the answer is dependent on a mixture of the mount, bolts used in the wall, the condition of the wall stud in the corner, the weight of the tv, and reach extension off the corner. There is a chance it can, but that is not a definite. Having used this mount, it does very well, but the torque on those mounting bolts can be significant when it is extended.
steven  Nov 27, 2020
A
I have an older home and had the same situation. I have had no issues, however I did use larger bolts, purchased from one of the box stores. Bolt color is not a concern because they are hidden. I had to move the 55" TV in and out a few times to rerun wiring, jostling it a bit, and it feels very secure.

Q
Can a Plasma TV be mounted on the wall mount?
donna  Jan 24, 2020
3 answers
A
Yes, if your properly installed mount (in studs) is rated high enough to support the weight of the tv.
mark  Feb 03, 2021
A
It can, however, plasma TVs are very heavy by their nature. As long as you do not exceed the weight rating, the mounting positions will work fine. In my installation, the plasma was 132 pounds and was too heavy for the rated load.
steven  Nov 27, 2020
A
I can see no reason why not.
