A solid basic wall mount
Chris from Arkansas on 2/24/2025
This wall mount is as described and shown in the item photos and we really had no issues with respect to installing both of the wall mounts we recently purchased. The directions were clear and the helpful videos I found made this an easy DIY project. So why not 5 stars? I do think a valid shortfall of this item is the lack of range in terms of how much the television (when mounted) can rotation/swing on the vertical axis. The item description does provide a physical measurement on how much that rotation/swing is (which seem accurate based on our experience) but when one actually needs to use this ability, it still means tight areas where cords need to run and connections made on the back of the television. Those with small hands probably won't notice this but larger handed folks might find the area exposed and accessible by the vertical rotation/swing to be difficult to work within. It should also be noted that on our televisions, the physical connections on the televisions themselves were each located below - and quite close to - the horizontal center bar mounted on the wall. This made for a more difficult - but NOT impossible mounting experience. If you television's physical connections are close to where the horizontal mount bar will cross the rear of your television, make sure you have someone with small hands to make your connections! Even with this in mind, I do recommend this product.
Pros: Good price. solidly built mount, a budget friendly price
Cons: Not a lot of hand room between horizontal mount bar and where my television connections were made (tight space).

Perfect low profile tilting mount
Tamara from Johns Island, SC on 8/14/2023
I wanted a low profile mount that had tilt capability. After an unfavorable experience with another brand I found this one sold by Crutchfield. It fits the bill exactly! It is well-made and sturdy, was packaged beautifully with all hardware neatly arranged (the handyman loved this!) and even extra hardware. It was a breeze to assemble and mount. Crutchfield ships super fast and has excellent online support.

Unobtrusive, Sturdy
Jerry from Lexington, VA on 11/7/2022
A solid anchor for a large tv, it also keeps the set nearly flush with the wall. Does allow for some movement for slight adjustments. But since it can be hung at eye level, which ours was, I don't see much need in the future to be moving it about.
Pros: Good price Sturdy Brings tv nearly flat to the wall

Very nice TV mount
Crutchfield customer from Stamford, CT on 12/26/2021
This bracket worked pretty much like all the TV brackets I've bought. What sets this one apart is the super thoughtful hardware packaging. If they went so far above and beyond for this, maybe they were equally thoughtful about the whole item. See photo.

Great for price
Crutchfield customer from Raleigh, NC on 3/22/2021
Easy to install and holds my 7 year old 55" Sony with no issues. The tilt is nice as I have it above the fireplace on the screened-in porch. I have an older Sanus VLT-5 as well and the tilt is easier to use on the Sanus but the price was double. Overall, this is a great mount for the price. The magnets on the strings are a nice touch to keep everything tucked behind the TV.
Pros: Solid metal Sturdy Easy to install
Cons: Tilt is stiff and difficult to move

Installed for a Samsung Q90/55" Very tight to wall. Though there is a little over an inch to work with, it doesn't amount to much with a large bulky tv. Definitely plan on a helping hand to assist while making the connections and then to get it onto the rail. Slides easy from side to side if needed to center. Install was easy and a wide array of hardware was provided to fit your TV. Micro leveling also worked well, but you will need a large and long (~12") phillips to reach the screws.

Very solid mount
Crutchfield customer from Jerseyville, IL on 9/25/2020
This is a very good mount. I used it to install a Sony 85" TV. I have installed many wall mounted TV's and used mounts from various manufacturers such as Chief, Sanus, and other top brands. This mount was neatly packaged, hardware provided was ample and well thought out. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Pros: Lots of hardware provided

Crutchfield customer from Jay, NY on 9/18/2020
Very solid mount. It comes with a ton of hardware, so you should be able to mount just about any TV to it (I did have to add some of my own washers because the supplied spacers were too thick). I was a little disappointed that even though it is a tilt mount, the TV is still very close to the wall, making it hard to make connections. Otherwise, a good purchase.

Outstanding Mount, Unique Features, Great Value!
Guest from Toronto, CA on 8/20/2020
The Kanto PT300 mount blows away the competition, and was the perfect low profile tilting unit to wall mount our 65" Samsung TV. Features unique to this unit include: 1) Super low profile mount, keeping your TV tight against the wall (almost too tight, you actually have to take the TV down if you want to add another connection, but it's worth it because the stand stays essentially hidden), 2) Genius magnetic release pulls that can be tucked up in behind your TV and out of the way, 3) Pre-tensioned tilt mechanism, so you don't have to take the TV down and tighten or loosen knobs to tilt it, you simply leave the TV up and grab the top of it, and push or pull it into position. 4) Genius post-install leveling screws, you can tighten or loosen after the mount is installed in order to perfectly fine tune the level of your TV. 5) Locking holes if you want to actually lock your TV to the mount (great for outdoor installs to prevent theft). 6) Super solid steel construction throughout that can hold up to 150 lbs, triple the weight of our 65" TV, with a wall bracket wide enough to fit 16" drywall studs, allowing you lots of room to slide your TV along its length to centre it to your liking. 7) Outstanding packaging and accessory hardware, including all the screws, bolts and washers you'll need for mounting almost any TV, plus super easy to read instructions... Honestly, this mount is worth at least twice the price based on the quality of its construction and all the smart features!

Installs easily, perfect when locked in the straight up position. One of the two tilting brackets I received must be bent or manufactured wrong. When I tilt the TV forward it twists and is not straight by almost an inch at the full tilt angle.
Pros: Easy to install and operate.
Cons: Quality not as expected.

Best mount I've ever installed and used.
Crutchfield customer from Vancouver, WA on 7/5/2020
Very easy to install. High quality compared to something just a little cheaper. And as good of quality as some mounting brackets costing three times as much. Nice features like being able to level TV after mounting by adjusting a simple screw on the tv mount. Can easily slide TV left or right on mount to get positioned just where you want it. Easy to remove TV from wall mount just by pulling the release strings. Adjustment system requires a wrench or socket to adjust tilt. But that negative means that the tilt won't moves after adjusting like many other hand tight systems use. Packaging and labeling of mounting hardware best I've seen. Just top notch all the way. Would give six stars if I could.
Pros: Everything about it from packaging, quality, mounting to nice and compact size.
Cons: None.

Keeps tv real close to wall. Good cust service
Crutchfield customer from Holden, MA on 5/23/2020
Got this bracket to hold a 58" Sharp TV. I was concerned at first because the distance between the holes on my TV was narrower than the holes on the bracket went down to.. so I emailed customer service and asked if they recommended using the long opening down the center for one of the wall bolts. They replied back within 12hours affirming the use of the opening. So for others wondering. If the holes don't line up you can use the center hole as long as one end (either top or bottom) is in a bolt hole. None of the mounting directions tell you this.
Pros: Close to wall. Heavy and sturdy.

Impressed with the qQuality
Brian from Deerfield, IL on 11/14/2019
Impressed with the quality of the Kanto PT300 Mount. Called Crutchfield because the mounting holes on my bracket didn't match the holes on my new TV. Luke at Crutchfield recommended this bracket and couldn't be happier. Kanto provides a large assortment of mounting screws for the back of your TV. All you need to do is pick the right ones. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. There is one bracket to install on the wall, using a level and 2 brackets to install on your TV. Very easy to do. I mounted the wall bracket to high on my wall however adjustments of the brackets mounted on the back of your TV will result in a perfect viewing height.
Pros: Quality, easy to install, assortment of mounting hardware
Cons: Tricky to get the perfect height
