Features

Speaker Floorstands: The SPL26PL speaker floorstands were designed to work perfectly with Kanto's YU4 and YU6 powered speakers; use the screw hole on the base of each speaker and the included 1/4"-20 screws to securely fasten them to the stands. The SPL26PL speaker stands will also work with Kanto's YU2 powered speakers and other brands of speakers that are similar size and weight of Kanto YU series speakers (without the securement screw). The stands allow you to place your compatible speakers at ear-level for optimal listening enjoyment.

Heavy-Duty Steel Construction: The Kanto speaker floorstands feature heavy-duty steel construction with an extra heavy-duty base that is designed to reduce undesirable vibration. The heavy-duty base measures 8.875" (w) x 10.5625" (d). Each stand weighs approximately 15 lbs. The speaker floorstands are available in a black or white finish to better match your speakers and room decor.

Adjustable Top-Plates: Two top plate sizes are provided to mount the Kanto YU2, YU4, or YU6 powered speakers; or other compatible speaker brand. The top-plates allow you to rotate your speakers to the left or right 15 degrees to ensure every sound reaches your ears. The top-plates can be positioned at -45, -30, -15, 0, +15, +30, or + 45 degrees. The adjustment must be done prior to mounting the top-plates to the upright posts.

  • Rectangular Top-Plate Dimensions: 4.375" (w) x 7.125" (d)
  • Square Top-Plate Dimensions: 7.0625" (w) x 7.0625" (d)

Wire & Cable Management: The Kanto SPL26PL speaker floorstands feature hollow upright posts that allow you to easily route your power cable and speaker wire, ensuring they remain concealed. The power cable and/or speaker wire should be no larger than 1" in diameter.

Rubber or Spiked Feet: Interchangeable spiked and rubber dome feet ensure your speakers remain securely in place on carpet, tile, hardwood, vinyl, or laminate flooring. The spiked feet should be utilized on carpet flooring for greater stability. The rubber dome feet should be used on hardwood, tile, vinyl, and laminate flooring to prevent damage to your floors.

  • Height with Rubber Feet: 26.0625"
  • Height with Spike Feet: 26.5625"

Note: The speaker stands should not be used without the rubber or spiked feet installed.

Q
Will these work with the Polk R200 speakers?
maurice  Jul 24, 2023
1 answer
A
These will, Frank! The Kanto SP26 is a model we pair with the smooth yet detailed Polk R200 speakers. You can even get these Kanto stands in white to match the white Polk's if you choose! I've put the white options in a handy link below for you. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_310SP26PLW/Kanto-SP26-White.html

Q
Will these work with my audio engine hd6 speakers? Thanks
greg  Jan 25, 2022
2 answers
A
Yes, I am using these stands with my Quad 12L Active speakers with the following dimensions: 8"x13"x9.5" (W x H x D), which are slightly bigger than the Audio Engine HD6. The secret is that the Kanto SP26 comes with 2 sets of top plates, the small ones shown in the product photos, as well as larger 7" square top plates, which is what I am using. Just like the HD6, the Quad 12L Active are self-powered speakers with amplifiers built into each speaker, and the Kanto SP26 works great for this price point - the stands are not at all wobbly, and the top plate has a thin foam covering the prevents the speakers from sliding on the top plate - no need for BluTack.

Hi, I have Triangle BRO3 speakers. They simply sit on top of the platform. They over lap the platform front, back, and on both sides by about an inch. It has not been an issue for me. The speaker stands have good weight to them and the spikes work well to dig into the carpet. The height is perfect and the stands do what they are suppose to do. I also like that you can feed the speaker wire through the stands to keep a cleaner appearance.

Will these stands work with the ELAC debut 2.0 speakers?

I do not know. I used these stands with the Klipsch RP 600M and the large base. Use a little blue tack to keep your speakers from moving.
brian  Oct 30, 2021
A
Probably? They're very sturdy. I have RP 600Ms on them which I think are bigger and they work great. I am using some blu-tack which helps with peace of mind

Q
Will these stands work with Polk tsi100s? They are more than 10" deep...
luke  Feb 20, 2021
1 answer
A
I use them to support my KEF Q150 which are 10.75 inches deep and they are perfect for them. The bar is 7 inches deep so it supports about 70% of the size of the speaker. A note to consider is the weight of your speaker and if the speaker can be screwed in. My KEFs have most of the weight balanced towards the front so my speakers are basically standing on the front not centered on the base. Also if you speakers can be screwed in, the base has that option in the center so you can lock your speakers to the base. I could not do that as my KEFs do not have that option at the bottom. I hope this information helps you.

Q
Would the Elac Uni-fi 2.0 UB52 fit on these stands?
matthew  Dec 24, 2020

A
I would call or chat with Crutchfield Tech Support on this question. There are 2 bases to fit different size speakers...
mickey  Dec 25, 2020
A
Measure your speakers and compare them to the specifications on the product that Crutchfield supplies for the product..There are two different sized platforms that come with the stands that you can use. How do you expect help when you do not supply the measurements of the speakers you have? Look at the questions and answers on the product. You are not the first person to ask if their speakers will fit he product. It's there.
michael  Dec 24, 2020
A
Most small to medium size bookshelf speakers would fit on this stands. It comes with 2 different size top plates to accommodate this.
khashayar shawn  Dec 24, 2020
A
My Triangle BR03 sit on top of the stand platform and while the speakers are wider than the platform they never fall off. Of course someone could simply push them off because nothing holds the speakers in place. The stands are quite heavy (that's a good thing). It's a good purchase if you're looking for stands that are a very good value but are not specifically made for your speakers. I reviewed many speakers stands and none were perfect. I would have to spend so much more for the specific stands that are made for my speakers. The dimensions were close enough so I purchased the Kanto stands. The spikes for carpet work well.
lee  Dec 24, 2020
Q
Would these stands work with Denon Home 150 Wireless speakers? Asking specifically about the size of the speaker plates on the stands matching the Denons.
tony  Aug 22, 2020
2 answers
A
The top plate is quite large. The Denon 150 is alit smaller than the top plate. These stands are for larger heavier bookshelf speakers and are quite large overall. I personally would not use them for that particular speaker.
charles  Aug 22, 2020
A
7" square with dimpled rubber top. Oddly, the plate attaches in the middle of the plate with a bolt that ends up higher than the plate (barely). Likely replaceable, but one of them stipped and one that works turns too easily so speakers turn. All can be compensated for. I have Larger B&W 607 on them. To get more precise fit would have been costly and otherwise well made. Ed

Q
Will these work with the Kliptsch rp 600m?
maxsting  Aug 03, 2020

A
Yes they will definitely work your Kilpsch RP 600M speakers. Use the the large base to place your speakers on. Just center the speakers on the stands and use either blue tac or a light tactile double sided tape to secure your speakers. Good luck and I hope I provide great info
brian  Aug 07, 2020
A
I have the SVS Ultras which are similar in size. Stands work wonderfully with them. Outstanding speaker stands. Very high quality. You may want to put some double sided tape between your speaker and stand to help hold them in place just in case someone bumps them.
gaylord  Aug 03, 2020
A
Should work fine for these. I use them for a KEF speaker with similar size and weight with no problems.
john  Aug 03, 2020
A
My Triangle BR03 simply sit on the stand. The stand is sturdy and heavy. There is no attachment, so the speakers can potentially be knocked off. My speakers are wider and longer than stand plate that supports the speaker but not a problem. Again, your speaker will just sit on the stand.
lee  Aug 03, 2020
A
Thanks gents. The 600m's are about 12" x 8". I think the large plate is 7x7. I've never had bookshelf nor stands and didn't know if the plate surface had to match in size to fit. Thanks
maxsting  Aug 03, 2020
A
You need to measure your speakers and compare them to the stands specificstions on the Crutchfield site. The come with two different size plates. You use the size and that fits best. Your speaker can go over the edge a bit if you do not have to worry about tipping them over. Only the speakers that are actually destroyed gender for the stands attach to the base.
michael  Aug 03, 2020
A
Yes, they should as they have couple of top plates which accommodate different size speaker but only Kanto speakers have holes at the bottom so they attach to the stands.
khashayar shawn  Aug 03, 2020
Q
Will the Klipsch Reference R-51PM Powered Monitors fit these stands? Thanks!
jason  Apr 07, 2020
2 answers
A
The stands come with two sizes of top plates. The small ones are about 4.35 inches by 7 inches. The larger square ones are about 7 inches by 7 inches. You can mount the smaller rectangle plates either way so the longer dimension goes the way you need it to; for instance if you want to place a speaker on it's side. These measurements are in the specifications of the product on Crutchfield's site. The size of your speakers are not given so you will have to measure your speakers and determine the fit yourself.
michael  Apr 09, 2020
A
Shoould work fine, ...the stands are well made for the money. You should be able to route your power and signal cables through the stand, as well. I've owned mine for over a year and would definitely purchase them again.

Q
Can these be filled with shot or sand?
kyle  Nov 07, 2019
3 answers
A
Yes you can fill them up with sand but they are heavy enough to hold your speakers. If you have kids at home I would strongly recommend to fill them with sand to avoid issues. I have a 7 year old one, and she does not walk around them as I did not fill them up. But again, they are well built and their weight should be enough.
marco  Feb 21, 2021
A
These stands can be filled with, but I did not because they are nice and heavy enough for my speakers.
fred  Nov 21, 2019
A
Yes, you can add sand or shot to these.

Q
Will these work with the KEF R3?
nicolas  Jan 17, 2021
4 answers
A
they should. check the dimensions of the kef against the larger plate on the stands. i use mine with b&w 601's using the larger plate. the do not accommodate filling although you could rig them. the stands are quite heavy but the vertical is hollow.
michael e  Jan 17, 2021
A
Depends on footprint of KEFS. I use with B&W 606. which are larger than plant form and they are fine. They are sturdy and stale. There is an assembly screw in middle of top plate. that isn't flush, but some blue tak or similar and speaker should be fine. That kinda defeats the nice padded top plate but I alway use something to attach speakers anyway. I think they are good buy as they are well constructed and heavy enough - no néed for spending more. The wire management is nice feature . Hope that helps. Ed
edward  Jan 17, 2021
A
I don't know. They worked fine with my Elac bookshelf speakers.
dorothy  Jan 17, 2021
A
Most likely. I bought them for the KEF LS50, and the R3 is not much larger. The stands are weighted at the bottom, and are fairly heavy, but they will be difficult to fill with sands or shots because there is a hole on the bottom for wires.
alexander  Jan 17, 2021
Q
Is this compatible with the Focal Chora 806â??s? Thanks!
c  Dec 05, 2020
1 answer
A
Honestly, I have no idea, I just bought these because it looked like they'd work with my speakers. Unfortunately they were sent missing several pieces; customer service did confirm twice which parts I needed when I called them, but then only sent half of what was required. Good luck with your purchase, sorry I couldn't be more help, but maybe this will at least Inform your decision as to where you end up buying your set.

Q
For non-Kanto speakers, how do I secure speakers to the mount, in order to avoid the risk of the speakers being knocked over?
kenneth  Jun 07, 2020
4 answers
A
Two top plate mounts are provided: The smaller have a hole for center mount speakers and work well for Kef LSX. I'm using the larger plates (no center hole) for Kef LS50W speakers, and have secured them with black nylon straps from Amazon: MAGARROW 78" x 1" Strap Buckle Packing Straps Adjustable 1-Inch Belt (Black (4-PCS). They have many types. True, not inconspicuous, but better than possible cat catastrophe. BTW, these are very nice stands: heavy and "high end" in appearance.
susan  Jun 22, 2020
A
I have these stands with the Elac debut Reference speakers on top. I did not secure them. They are pretty solid with the speaker's weight of 18 lbs. if you really wanted to make them more secure you could drill a small hole in the base and attach with screw, I think. They are very secure in my situation as is. I got the white elac and they match the white stands very well.
samuel l  Jun 16, 2020
A
Put some industrial Velcro under the speaker and on top of the stand. You could take a stab at drilling the bottom of the speaker and screwing it but I decided not to do that
fred  Jun 16, 2020
A
I really don't have a solution for you, as I have had mine for a couple of years now and don't have a need to secure them. We have no children nor pets and they are in an area that is out of traffic in the room. I've herd that some people use Paper Tak or industrial Strength Velcro, but I can't comment as to how well it works.

Q
Can I use these stands for KEF Q150?
raymond  Feb 14, 2020

You can but I doubt they will bolt to the stand unless they are threaded on the bottom. My ELAC debut 2.0 speakers rest on the stands without a problem but I can't bolt then down
fred  Feb 14, 2020

I am currently using these stands to support a pair of Q series loudspeakers and they perform as expected and also look great! I am sure you will be pleased with them.
