We and our customers loved the original KLH Kendall, an award-winning floor-standing speaker that helped relaunch the KLH brand in the modern era. Now KLH has built an entire series of Kendall mk2 speakers around that success — with some significant upgrades to performance and looks, too. The Kendall 2B is the bookshelf/stand-mount pair in the lineup, a flexible choice that would work beautifully in a music lover's dedicated stereo rig or as part of a home theatre setup.

A high-performance two-way driver complement

The Kendall 2B features advanced new drivers for effortless, musical sound and improved power handling. A 1" titanium dome tweeter with ferrofluid-cooled motor structure serves up smooth, clean highs. Bass and midrange frequencies come courtesy of a 6-1/2" aluminum cone woofer with a non-resonant die-cast aluminum basket. For the best possible sound, we recommend picking up a pair of sturdy speaker stands (not included).

Beautiful hand-crafted cabinets

KLH builds these speaker cabinets by hand in Canada, using 3/4"-thick MDF (medium-density fiberboard) to suppress sound-muddying resonance. They sport a slim, contemporary design with sculpted edges, and they come in your choice of two real-wood veneer finishes. Magnetically attached removable grilles are included.

The KLH name lives on

Henry Kloss and his partners founded KLH in Cambridge, Massachusetts back in the '50s. Kloss changed the audio industry with innovations like the acoustic suspension loudspeaker, the first-ever full-range electrostatic speaker, and the first high-selectivity table radio.

Today, KLH is headquartered in Noblesville, Indiana. The company's latest speaker lineup represents a fresh take on that rich and varied KLH legacy.
