Product Research

Features

Overview: The iDatalink Maestro HRN-DSP-FO2 T-harness lets you add a Rockford Fosgate DSR1 digital signal processor and aftermarket amplifiers (both sold separately) to your compatible Ford vehicle with factory non-amplified sound system. The FO2 greatly simplifies the installation process with one T-harness that ties directly into the factory wiring, providing direct connections to the DSR1 and letting you re-use the factory speaker wires. The HRN-DSP-FO2 T-harness can also be combined with iDatalink's ACC-RCA1 harness and a Maestro ADS-MAR module (both are required and sold separately), letting you install an aftermarket 4-channel amplifier in compatible Ford vehicles, without the need for adding a DSR1 processor.

Compatibility: The Maestro HRN-DSP-FO2 interface harness is designed to fit select 2011-2020 Ford vehicles with non-amplified factory sound systems. Click here to see a current list of compatible models.

Customer Q&A

2 questions already asked

Q
Can I use this harness with a kicker key 200.4 specifically the 12v power and ground?

Yes, this is a plug in harness so no cutting of factory harness. Will have to modify part of this harness( cut off the Rockford fosgate pigtail) no problems to use this. Get a quality line output converter. I used Audiocontrol Lc7i, if the kicker only had line level outputs, ie RCA inputs. Good luck hope this helps. Available for further questions
jason  Mar 20, 2022
A
No, the wires would not provide enough power to power the kicker key 200.4

Q
Does the dfo2 have to plug into a drs1 or can I just use this harness?

I just used it as a harness. Had to cut the connection to the drs1 and solder speaker wire to it to send signal to LC7i. Yes it can be used without the DSP module with minor modifications.

Yes, It is made only two Tyann to the DSR one although it says he could use it as a T harness by cutting the 18 pin plug this information is in accurate and will not supply signal

The reason to use this harness is to keep the factory Ford screen and integrate it with aftermarket amplifiers, so if you aren't using a DSR1 or another DSP then I don't know what you would want this harness to do for you. But with a DSR1 it just plugs in directly and you then run your RCA's to your amps and speaker wires from your amps back up to the DF02 and connect to the speaker wires to use the factory speaker wiring from that point.

If you need to fab a T-harness it should work just fine. By T-harness I mean, speaker outputs to an aftermarket amplifier that has high level inputs and then speaker inputs to feed the amplified signal from that aftermarket amp to the door speakers using the factory wiring harness. There are also some additional wires for constant power, ground and remote turn on but you would need to review the wiring instructions on the manufacturers website for your application.

Yes it goes into the DSR1 only maybe with some modification u "could" use it for something else
