A little about me

I've worn a few hats since first joining Crutchfield in 2007. I spent about seven years as an Advisor, helping our customers find and enjoy A/V gear. I've spent a similar amount of time writing about the products that we offer online and in our catalog. My specialties are photography and home theater equipment. That's fortunate for me, because I cherish the at-home surround sound experience and am a working event photographer when I'm not wearing a writer's cap.

Here's a fun fact: I'm on my third round of employment with Crutchfield. I left the first time to finish my college degree, and the second time to run my photography business full time. Why do I keep coming back to work here? I believe in Bill Crutchfield's mission of serving our customers. It's incredibly rewarding to help someone choose the right pair of speakers for their listening room, or the best camera lens for their child's graduation ceremony. I know that the products I help our customers find are going to be in their lives for a long time. There's durable satisfaction there for me.

My love of bluegrass music has recently led to me signing up for banjo lessons. The energy of string instruments is truly spectacular, and I'm excited to add more of it to my life!
