The AT-LP120XBT-USB turntable supports 33-1/3, 45 (adapter included), & 78 RPM records require an additional cartridge that is not included and sold separately (see Accessories Tab).

Q
Can you use a record dampening weight or a record clamp with the Audio-Technica LP120XBT-USB and if so what weight is recommended?
mike  May 22, 2023
1 answer
A
You certainly can for best performance with the fantastic Audio-Technica LP120XBT, Mike. The Pro-Ject Clamp It in the link below is a top contender. This bad boy wieghs in at 4.23 oz, and the Mo-Fi Super HeavyWeight in the second link is also an option and this weighs in at a stout 13oz. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_252CLMPIT/Pro-Ject-Clamp-it.html https://www.crutchfield.com/p_406SUPHEWT/Mobile-Fidelity-Super-HeavyWeight.html

Q
DOES THIS Audio-Technica LP120XBT-USB WORK WITH BOSE SOUNDLINK+II REVOLVE BLUETOOTH SPEAKER?
peggy  Jan 18, 2023
1 answer
A
Greetings Peggy, and thank you for your question. I cannot see a reason why it would not work. The Audio Technica has the Bluetooth transmitter. As long as the speakers has Bluetooth, it will work.
thomas  Jan 18, 2023 (Staff)
Q
Will this unit Audio-Technica LP120XBT-USB Connect thru blu-tooth with Vizio Elevate 5.1.4Wirelessly?
david  Jan 16, 2023
1 answer
A
This should be possible. We cannot guarantee connectivity since Bluetooth can be somewhat difficult to predict, but this turntable has the ability to transmit Bluetooth, and the Vizio has the ability to receive Bluetooth.
zachary  Jan 16, 2023 (Staff)
Q
What do I need to connect this turntable to to R-50M klipsch speakers? Also.... would I need an amp with these speakers? I see it has a pre-amp.
zach  Jan 11, 2023
1 answer
A
You will need an amplifier connected between the turntable and speakers, Zach. The Klipsch R-50m are a superb choice for vinyl listening, and the Audio-Technica LP120XBT does have a built-in preamp and Bluetooth. I would advise pairing the fantastic Cambridge Audio AXR85 Stereo receiver in the link below. This has Line-level inputs or a phono input for use with the turntable and has Bluetooth as well! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_779AXR85/Cambridge-Audio-AXR85.html

Q
Will this turntable pair with Sonos Move speakers? If not, what turntable would you recommend that has the 78rpm option?
brian  Jan 03, 2023
1 answer
A
The Audio-Technica LP120XBT-USB will not pair with Sonos speakers on its own, Brian. You can add the Sonos Port in the below link to bring your vinyl into the Sonos network. Since the Audio-Technica has a built-in preamp, you can send line-level into the Sonos Port. For 78 RPM you will also need the VM670SP cartridge in the second link. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_616PORT1BK/Sonos-Port.html https://www.crutchfield.com/p_057VM670SP/Audio-Technica-VM670SP.html

Q
I am having problem pairing my turntable?
tony g  Dec 17, 2022
1 answer
A
We provide lifetime Technical Support with any order, Tony. It's a major advantage to purchasing with us. If you got your Audio-Technical LP120XBT-USB from us and are having any issues at all, call us! If you purchased elsewhere, I'll still try to help. It looks like the Bluetooth transmitter on this deck only functions when the built-in preamp is set to "line". If you are connecting not using the onboard preamp, try flicking that switch to "line" and see if you can pair successfully. I hope this helps!

Q
Just bought the at-lp120xbt-usb. When playing i get distorted music unless I disconnect the either L or R channel. Do I have a bad turntable?
scott  Dec 06, 2022
1 answer
A
It could be the turntable that is the issue. If you have tried a different cable and it is still giving you that same distortion. If you give us a call at 800.324.9695 to speak with an advisor we can possibly dive a little deeper into the problem.

Q
Can i connect the USB port to my iphone to play music to my HomePod via AirChord?
vinyl  Nov 11, 2022
1 answer
A
You cannot sadly, Bev. The USB port is for a direct connection with a computer for software based recording and backup. The Audio-Technica AT-LP120XBT-USB turntable features a USB-B output, comes with a 6.5' USB cable, and supports downloadable Audacity recording software that allows you to convert your vinyl records to digital audio files. You will need to plug the turntable into your laptop or computer via USB and install the downloadable Audacity recording software. The Audacity software is compatible with both PC (7 or above) & Mac (OS X 10.7 or above). Your vinyl records can be downloaded and recorded to your laptop or computer at CD-quality (16-bit/44.1 or 48kHz). Keep in mind this works with other third-party recording software too. Once those files are in your computer you can most likely access them with your iDevices! I hope this helps Bev.

Q
do you know the center to center distance of the feet? thx!
keith  Nov 01, 2022
1 answer
A
That is a great question Keith, and sadly not answered in the specs from Audio-Technica. Our listed specs of 17-13/16"W x 13-7/8"D is for the outer case dimensions. If we estimate on the safe side of around 3/4" intrusion on each pedestal (x2 for each side with 4 feet) we are looking at a rough dimension for the feet at around 16.3" wide and 12.4" deep. I know this is not exact, but I hope this helps! The good news is that any gear that does not physically fit can be returned within 60 days, so no worries!
bo  Nov 01, 2022 (Staff)
Q
How big around in diameter are the feet on bottom? Thinking about, if I buy this turntable, putting felt pads on bottom of the 4 circle feet to protect top of wood cabinet it would be sitting on.
rq1959  Jul 08, 2022
1 answer
A
We don't have a measurement listed for these feet sadly, Roberta. They will fall somewhere in between the 2.5-3" mark. Using a felt pad to protect the wood cabinet is a good idea! You can also use items like this IsoAcoustics zaZen Turntable isolation platform I've linked below. This will actually help the turntable sound a lot better (useful for IF you are planning to use the USB recording feature) and It's got little rubberized feet that are less likely to scratch the wood cabinet. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_892ISZAZ1/IsoAcoustics-zaZen-I.html

Q
Does this come with everything I would need to connect it to a sound bar?
sheila  Jun 10, 2022
1 answer
A
If your soundbar has Bluetooth capability, then you can connect right out of the box wirelessly Sheila. If your soundbar has a traditional AUX in port for audio input from an external device you will need one of these stereo breakout cables I've put in the link below. I hope this helps! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_979CMR206/Hosa-Stereo-Mini-to-RCA-Adapter-Cable-6-foot.html

Q
Can I connect this turntable to the usb port of my laptop and listen to music on my Bose wave system via wi-fi?
bob  Jan 12, 2022
1 answer
A
I use patch cables today, in this case, from the 1/4" headphone jack on the front or phono jacks on the back of my amp to feed audio into my laptop. If you feed directly from the turntable, you may need software to make adjustments in volume and tone. I have found cables for any transitions I have needed. Hope this helps.

Q
I'm having difficulty removing the (green)stylus from the cart head provided with the AT-LP 120-USB. Seems to be stuck on tight! I'm afraid to use any force. Any suggestions? Thanks.
john  Jan 08, 2022
2 answers
A
Well, that can't be. The stylus and cartridge came separate when I bought the TT. I placed the stylus in the cart myself when I received the unit. And replace styli are easy to purchase from audio Technica. I have a new one. And I'd like to swap it out. There must be some other explanation.
john  Jan 11, 2022
A
I may be wrong I I'm not sure stylus comes off. I just replaced whole cartridge
scott  Jan 08, 2022
Q
Is the cover easily removable, or would it need to be removed with some tools? I'm not looking to permanently remove it, just when using the turntable, because the place where I want to put it does not have enough height to fully raise the lid.
micky  Dec 03, 2021
5 answers
A
Hello Micky! I also did not have room to raise the lid on this record player. When I assembled it, I did not assemble the hinges, which are just pieces that slide into slots on the lid and platform. I simply left the hinges off and just place the lid on top of the record player when it is not in use. Hope this helps!
jennifer l  Dec 04, 2021
A
It is easily removable - the hinge clips lift out of slots on the back of the turntable, but it does help to see the back of it when putting it back on if you want to clip it back into place.
darren  Dec 03, 2021
A
Lifts right off, no tools or tricks needed.
steven  Dec 03, 2021
A
Yes. The top can easily be removed. The hinges are inserted into the top as well as the base.
stephen  Dec 03, 2021
A
It is very easily removed without any tools. If you don't use the removable hinges you could lift the cover vertically and put it away temporarily every time you play it.

ralph  Sep 13, 2021

No it does not. I was concerned myself until I began using it. I suppose it is the counter balance that helps but I don't have any problems at all with it at all!!

Will this turntable (or any Bluetooth enabled turntable) connect via Bluetooth to my Denon AVR-X3300W?
loren  Aug 25, 2021
2 answers
A
I don't have a Denon but it works on my pioneer and work well. After the first parring the receiver connects as soon as the turntable is powered up.
phillip  Aug 26, 2021
A
If your Denon is Bluetooth enabled it should. Better sound would be obtained by connecting via cables.

Q
Can I hook this up to my Pioneer stereo receiver? Into the phone jack.
frank  Jun 02, 2021
