A tiny amp that'll give you big sound in your car
Sony designed their XMS400D car amplifier to fit where others won't. It's small enough to fit behind the dash in many vehicles, and powerful enough to add some serious juice to your speakers. It's a great option if you want to give your factory radio a major power boost. It's also a nice power upgrade to any aftermarket radio.

Hey, I'm JR, and I'm here today with the Sony XMS400D. It's a compact, 4-channel amplifier, significantly smaller than your typical 4-channel amp so you probably won't need to go find a place under your seat or in the trunk to put it. The whole idea here is you might be able to put it right in the dash behind your radio, which makes installation significantly easier.
You may be able to wire it up to the power wires right there at your radio. Depending on your car, you might have to run a power wire all the way to the battery. Call us if you need help or advice on that.
It's got inputs for music from your factory radio, so speaker-level inputs. It can even sense the music and turn itself on when you start playing music. Of course, if you're using that with an aftermarket radio it has preamp inputs as well and it comes with all the wiring that you would need for that.
Very versatile amplifier. It has high- and low-pass filters. You can use it to power four speakers, and it's going to be about double the power of most aftermarket radios, so significantly more sound, deeper bass, higher highs, and better clarity at just about any volume.
