JBL BAR2.0 All-In-One (MK2): The JBL BAR 2.0 All-In-One (MK2) is a compact single speaker solution for adding better sound to your television. This active soundbar speaker houses two oval "racetrack" drivers powered by a 40-watt (Max) x 2-channel amplifier. An integrated rear-firing bass port delivers deep bass from a compact soundbar solution.

• Dolby Digital Decoding: The JBL BAR 2.0 All-In-One (MK2) supports Dolby Digital decoding (up to 5.1ch) through its HDMI ARC out and Optical digital input.
• Smart Mode: With Smart Mode enabled, you can enjoy TV programs with richer sound effects. For TV programs such as news and weather forecasts, you can reduce sound effects by disabling the smart mode and switching to the Standard Mode.
• Audio Sync: With the audio sync function, you can synchronize audio and video to make sure that no delay is heard from your video content.

HDMI ARC Output: The JBL BAR 2.0 All-In-One (MK2) features one HDMI ARC output to connect the soundbar to your TV's HDMI ARC input. The HDMI ARC output allows audio from your TV to be sent through the soundbar system. The HDMI ARC output supports Dolby Digital (5.1ch) and PCM (2ch).

• Some televisions will only pass 2ch PCM through the ARC-enabled HDMI input from devices connected to the TV via HDMI or analog, and will only pass Dolby Digital via the TV's built-in tuner, network apps, or USB.
• The HDMI ARC Output only supports audio transmission and does not support any type of video signals.
• DTS audio decoding is not supported.

Optical Digital Input: In addition to HDMI connectivity, the JBL BAR 2.0 All-In-One (MK2) is outfitted with an optical (toslink) digital input that supports 2ch PCM and Dolby Digital (up to 5.1ch). The digital optical output terminals of many newer flat-panel TVs only send an audio signal in 5.1ch when receiving Dolby Digital surround sound from the TV's built-in tuner, network connection, or connected USB device; and will output only 2ch stereo from sources connected to the TV via HDMI, or RCA (like your Blue-ray/DVD player or satellite/cable box).

• DTS audio decoding is not supported.
• This soundbar is not equipped with an analog audio input.

Bluetooth Audio Streaming: The JBL BAR 2.0 All-In-One (MK2) is equipped with built-in Bluetooth 4.2 with support for wireless audio streaming (A2DP 1.3). You'll be able to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your Bluetooth-enabled device (such as your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or computer) to the soundbar speaker system. You will still use your Bluetooth source device for playback control and to view song/artist/album info. You can pair multiple Bluetooth devices with the BAR 2.0 All-In-One (MK2), but only one device can be used for playback at a time. The system has a wireless Bluetooth range of approximately 33'.

• When streaming audio from your TV via Bluetooth to the soundbar, the JBL Bar 2.0 All-In-One (MK2) is limited to 2ch stereo (not compatible with Dolby Digital).
• The JBL Bar 2.0 All-In-One (MK2) is a Bluetooth receiver only. It does not feature a Bluetooth transmitter and cannot output sound to a set of Bluetooth headphones.
• The JBL Bar 2.0 All-In-One (MK2) does not support Bluetooth hands-free communication for making and answering phone calls.

USB-A 2.0 Port: The JBL Bar 2.0 All-In-One (MK2) features a rear-panel USB-A 2.0 port for connection of a USB MSC (mass storage class) device, such as a USB thumbdrive (up to 64GB). You'll be able to playback MP3 (16-48kHz/80-320kbps) and WAV (16-48kHz/up to 3000kbps) music files stored on a USB MSC device (formatted in FAT32) through the JBL soundbar. The soundbar does not offer playback control or song/artist/album info display. The USB port can also be used to charge (5V/0.5A) a small electronic devices (such as a smartphone).

• The USB-A port can also be used for firmware and software updates.
• The USB port does not support Apple iOS or Android OS device playback.

Remote Control: The JBL BAR 2.0 All-In-One (MK2) comes with an IR remote for wireless operation of the active soundbar speaker. The soundbar can also respond to "Power On/Off", "Volume Up/Down" and "Mute" commands from the remote of a HDMI CEC compatible television connected via HDMI. If your TV remote does not control the soundbar automatically, you can program the soundbar speaker to respond your TV remote's "Volume Up/Down" and "Mute" commands.

Mounting Options: You can place the JBL BAR 2.0 All-In-One (MK2) active soundbar speaker on a shelf or tabletop, or wall-mount it with the included brackets. The soundbar should be centered above or below your TV.

Power Requirements: The active soundbar comes with a 59" AC power cord and will need to be plugged into an AC wall outlet or surge protector (sold separately - see Accessories Tab). If the soundbar is inactive for more than 10 minutes, it will switch to standby mode automatically. Next time you switch on the soundbar, it returns to the last selected source.
